A Picnic Is A Long Day For A Teacher
Sixty students, one bus, a venue two hours away and a return before dark. That is the day we take off a school's hands. SmartTripss has been arranging picnics for schools and colleges around Mumbai and Thane since 2012.
We book the bus, confirm the venue for your date, arrange breakfast, lunch and tea, buy the entry tickets, and send a coordinator along for the day. Everything comes back to you as one rate per student, split by grade band, agreed before you confirm.
Every spot we work with is within a comfortable drive of Mumbai and Thane — water parks, resorts, agro farms and theme parks in Karjat, Lonavala and Alibaug. You leave in the morning and you are back the same evening.

How We Got Here
From one bus for one Bhiwandi school to picnics running across six regions.
The First Bus
SmartTripss started by arranging a single picnic bus for a Bhiwandi school. Word spread through the staff room, and the next season brought three more schools.
Beyond Thane
Added the Karjat and Lonavala belt — water parks, agro farms and resorts — so a group could still leave in the morning and be home by evening.
One Rate Per Student
Moved to a single all-inclusive rate covering bus, meals and entry tickets, split by grade band, so teachers stopped collecting extra money on the day of the picnic.
Coordinator On Every Trip
Started sending a SmartTripss coordinator along with each group to handle entry, meal timings and the return schedule, leaving teachers free to supervise students.
